Malmberg, which specialises in biogas upgrading, has commissioned Thermion AB to carry out the insulation at "The Magic Factory" in Tönsberg, Norway. The assignment includes insulation and sheet metal cladding of columns, pipework and filters. Thermion AB is also responsible for the scaffolding construction.

The contract was signed earlier this year and Thermion is now established on site in Norway. The prefabrication of the cladding sheet, which is carried out in Stenungsund and Gothenburg, is in full swing.

Due to inspection and access, insulation and cladding sometimes have to be customised. The picture shows the prefabricated top of the smaller column. Each segment is removable to allow access to the top of the column. The segments contain the prescribed insulation and of course the construction is adapted to outdoor climate and rain.
