ST1 - GPU Project
Thermion supplied and installed moulded insulation mattresses for valves, flanges, equipment and instrumentation pipes for St1's new facility at the Gothenburg refinery. The spring solution makes them very easy to temporarily remove for inspections and service work. The assignment started in the summer of 2023 and was completed at the turn of the year 2023/-24.
In total, about 7200 valves and flanges were insulated with this type of removable and fixed insulation.
In total, more than 12,000 mattress units were delivered, and at the peak of production about 750 mattresses per week.
