Thermion AB has won a major contract for insulation of pipes and equipment at Novo Nordisk's major expansion of its plant in Kalundborg, Denmark.

A large part of the assignment is condensation and cold insulation, where cellular rubber, mineral wool and foam insulation are used depending on temperatures and other conditions. Traditional thermal insulation is carried out on other pipes and equipment.

It is a project that places great demands on logistics and planning as there are many contractors on site at the same time.

The work has started in secret with some specific actions, but will start in full in March-April this year and continue until the end of the summer.
